MarineParents: Marine Family Network (MFN)

An Outreach Program of

The Condolences Forum - how to find it and express your sympathy to the families of Fallen Heroes

We recently added a new forum to Marine Family Network called -

The Condolences Forum (<=== click here)

This forum will be the central location where our members can express their sympathy and condolences to the families of our Fallen Heroes.  Official Department of Defense notices for Marines who were killed in action will be posted in the Condolence Forum; they will also be posted in the unit group for each Fallen Marine too.

On our old MarineParents Message Board, condolence topics/messages were posted in the Fallen Marine's unit forum.  However, on Marine Family Network members have to "join" a group to be able to post a message.  A central location for condolences makes more sense so that all of our members are able to easily post their messages to the families.

The Condolences Forum will be listed on the MFN Home Page (in the box labeled "Please Take Time to Pay Tribute to Our Fallen Marines") so it is easy to find.  It also can be accessed under the "Connect & Share" tab at the top and on the "Our Fallen Heroes" page under the "Links" tab.

We do have a Condolence Book Project Group which helps honor our Fallen Heroes too.  If you would like to participate in that group, please click on the link and join the group.

Thanks for showing your support and sympathy for the families of The Fallen.

My Deepest Sympathy to the families first, and then to ALL the Marines and their Families. I couldn't hold my grandson at the time it happened, but I called him as soon as I could. My Marine Grandson is in the Reserves here in TN. I pray for all the new Marines and their families, because it was at a better time than this when Nick became a Marine. I remember the stress that I felt then, so Families my prayers are always for you and your Marines.

Might I add the link to the group for our Fallen Heroes for those members who visit infrequently and wish to post a condolence for the previous months:

Thank you to each and every MFN member who posts condolences in honor of our Fallen Heroes.  I know many of the familes of our fallen come here to see the messages of comfort, sympathy, and support.  Your words may very well be what they need to see at that given moment.  I know each of us holds a special place in our hearts for these heroes and their loved ones!

The new format outlined above makes it very easy to remember our Fallen.
