I received this email and these photos late last night from the sister of Sgt. Frank Zaehringer III.  Her brother's information will be added to our Fallen Heroes Trbutes website.  But I thought it was important to read her heartfelt words here, on Memorial Day.  We will never forget.....

Hello Barb, I would like to post a picture of my Beloved brother. His name is Sgt. Frank R. Zaehringer III. He was born in Reno, NV on July 10th 1987. He was killed on patrol in the Helmand Province of Afghanistan on October 11th 2010. He is not only my hero, but my mother Sherry Zaerhinger's and my father Frank R. Zaerhringer's II as well. He was stationed in Camp Lejune, North Carolina. He joined the military to protect those that could not protect themselves. The men he saved that terrible day are forever grateful. We will always be thankful for the sacrifices of our military people. He will forever be our hero...and now a guardian angel to all.

God Bless.
