"I think I don't sleep sometimes because it feels like wasted time. I know it's necessary, and that shift workers do die younger, but my good sleeping stopped when I started doing shift work almost 40 years ago!"

Oh my gosh, it's beautiful! You are really talented, and I know your son will love that!

I also know you would love to have letters, but I think you said before he wouldn't write. He must be so focused on doing what is necessary there. My son hasn't sent one in a while and it's hard. I am trying not to run to the mailbox every day! It is hard to hear how much other parents say about their letters, too.  Hang in there - you obviously raised a great man for him to get where he is today.
