mikesmom said… I know what you mean - the thought of that day that I get to hug him again keeps me going. Thanks for the kind words about the picture - it was taken in October because he was supposed to ship out November 1st and be in Delta Company. We took these photos so we would have a family photo for our Christmas cards since he was supposed to be gone. We found out October 31st that he would have to wait until January 17 to ship out. We had already had our going away party -lots of tears and then he stayed. We were thankful to have him home for the holidays, but we were all mentally prepared for him to go - he was way ready. Anyway, we got our Christmas photos taken early. Have a good day.
