Hi melina, I saw you ask about food. I am going to assume that your son has graduated Boot camp, because you know not to send food to Boot.

Now if he is a MCT, again, I would not send food, they are out in the field too much and it would not get eaten. If he is at MOS or his PDS, then it is ok to send food.

He will most likely share with friends. I have never heard of there being poison food at any of the bases, so please don't worry about that. I know that one of my son's greatest joy's was going to the bake sales held by the wives. I even have pictures of him standing in line to pay for his selections.

milena, if you have a recruit, then you will want the Parris Island links. These are general information links,

http://marinefamilynetwork.com/group/mcrdpifdgrad

http://marinefamilynetwork.com/group/mcrdpigentopics

If I knew when he shipped, then I could help you with that link too.

On chat, you asked about MCT, that will be at Camp Geiger, after he finishes Boot. MCT is 28 days long. He will then go to his, MOS or school for his "job". After all that, he will go to his PDS.

So why don't you get through boot and as the time gets closeer, then we can help you with MCT?
