So...My son left this morning for boot camp. Trying to figure out how a heart can be so full of pride for what he's chosen to do with his life...yet so sad that he had to go. I'm definitely hoping this gets easier.

rpmom2012 said… Tammy I know you wrote this some time ago, but I just wanted you to know your words describe exactly how I feel. I guess I am adjusting slowly and things are getting a little easier,. First very short letter arrived on Tuesday it was good to see his handwriting, but he didn't have much to say( I love you was nice to see). We parents can read between the lines.
