"Just had a great Thanksgiving, my soon to be Lcpl came home for the holiday.  He will be coming home for the Christmas 96 hour liberty too.  He said that half the group was getting Christmas and the other half will get the New Year's…"

"Just found the governing doctrine for the Lejuene area, and you were right about travel restrictions. 72 hour liberty (Columbus Day and Veteran's Day) has a 350 mile radius limit, while a 96 hour liberty (Thanksgiving and Christmas) has a…"

"3531 is Motor Vehicle Operator, and I think that school is at Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri. Can't tell you why the transfer from Rifleman to Motor Vehicle Operator."

"Marines generally get a 72 or 96 hour liberty for federal holidays, but that can change depending on their training schedule.   Your Marine will be your best source of information on what kind of leave and liberty they have or will receive."
