371 homecoming

Hi Everyone!  The time is drawing very close.   I was wondering if there is anyone that could be available to pick up my son's fiance from the airport for us the night before.  We don't think we will get there in time.  And I would rather she get a ride from Marine Family than a taxi.  Nate is coming in on MB2.  We are so excited!  I know I can't say the exact date on here, but you will know.  Send me a message if you can help out. Thanks.Rod  See More

"You all spend christmas opening presents, i spend it waiting for my mail that was sent 4 weeks ago, you listen to christmas music and stories, i…

The Selflessness of our Marines

Posted on November 12, 2011 at 8:30am 2 Comments

Selflessness, "the act of sacrificing ones own interest for the greater good".  That describes each and every one of our Marines.  Our sons and daughters standing on those yellow footprints is truly an act of selflessness.

As we have celebrated the Marine Corps' 236th Birthday and then Veteran's day these past 2 days, I can't help but stop and think about our son's and daughter's selfless acts.  Some of us may have had the perfect…
