Our son is back from the other side of the world.  We are adjusting as well as expected.  However, while he was gone, we got a new cat and LCPL BabyMan, has plenty to say about how I treat her."You spoil her.""What else am I suppose to do with her?""She doesn't need three scratch posts, Mom.""She does if she doesn't want to get declawed. I can't have her scratching up my furniture.  I hate that.  And I don't want to declaw her, and she can't stay out side all the time.  I have nightmares that…See More

Our son is back from the other side of the world.  We are adjusting as well as expected.  However, while he was gone, we got a new cat and LCPL BabyMan, has plenty to say about how I treat her.

"Oh yeah, it's early there." she says.

"He's telling me about a book he read." I tell her. "Funny, this kid. He…

Pfc Phonewrecker, is now Pfc Lava Dog.  He's having a good time on "not quite" the other side of the world.  And I felt bad about giving him some bad news.

It's hard enough  talking to him and telling him something good, or normal or nice, but bad news--Ugh.

I tried to call him.  But his great new phone -the one he insisted he needed because of the great service he would have--isn't taking my calls right now.

So, I had to send him a text message.  Ugh.  I didn't…

Hi Michele,

My name is Mair.  My Grandson is  Marine (Parris Island Delta company 1069 9/13/2013) presently stationed on Okinawa.  I have been  member of MFN since 7/13 but I do not get here to often lately. I read your bolg "No Service" and commented on it.  Made my sides ache with laughter.  Marines, "you gotta love 'em:).
