Marina, it will be ok. You will learn to be a military parent at the same time your son is learning to be a Marine. There is lots of training for everyone.
I think many parents had moments of apprehension but once their son or daughter shipped and they found the other parents in their groups, they had the comfort of others on the journey. Have you read any of the poole page?
