"What you may have done already is research online. Type in "USMC Motor T." also look at youtube. There is a lot of information."

My son goes to bootcamp June 5 his job is Motor Transport. Can some tell me what exactly that is and what he wil be doing? Also after bootcamp where does he go for training?

"It depends on if they need to gain or loose a little weight. Mine needed to gain, so he got a few more milk shakes with protein  powder and bananas. lol He made weight but was still thin enough that he had to have double rations in Boot…"

Marina, it will be ok. You will learn to be a military parent at the same time your son is learning to be a Marine. There is lots of training for everyone.

I think many parents had moments of apprehension but once their son or daughter shipped and they found the other parents in their groups, they had the comfort of others on the journey. Have you read any of the poole page?
