statbrat55 said… Hi there! I remember seeing you guys at MEPS. My daughter went with yours. I hope they will be a source of support for each other. I know it is scary... the most difficult thing is having no contact. I HATE IT. My friend, who's daughter has already been thru this said they will be in November Co. and graduation is set for May 11th. I am not doing a thing until I see if she passes her IST on Friday. she aced the flexed arm hang and crunches but struggles with the run. From what my friend said if they go to PCP it only makes them better Marines. They do extreme physical conditioning there. Her daughter failed at crunches. This transition will take about 3 weeks she said. AND THEY WILL TOTALLY HATE EVERY MINUTE. But after that once they start acting like a platoon- it will get easier. Right now is the phase where they will feel like they have gotten the tar beat out of them. Stay in touch and maybe we can help hold each other up through this process. I understand how very difficult this is because I am right there with you- me and all my gazillion questions! Take care- sending you strength and hugs!
