First time on here!

Hello everyone! My name is Christine, my boyfriend is a Marine currently in California. He left for basic back in December, graduated in March and is now back to Cali for more training. I have looked everywhere to find a forum where I could chat with women in my shoes, but haven't found one quite like this. This is quite a journey, and it's easier with other women who are going through the same thing.

Thanks for letting me join, and I can't wait to chat and get to know all you gals :)

Christine, I see you're from the Lake area. Just as an aside, next Saturday (20th), a number of us are getting together in Columbia to ship care packages to deployed troops. We do this 4 times a year. You would be more than welcome to join us, and you would find a number of people who could relate to what you are feeling. Here is a link to our Care Package Project site for more information.
