Transportation from Amtrak to Camp Pendleton

I have a question regarding transportation.  I hope someone can help me.  My son is taking the Amtrak train to Camp Pendleton on Monday, April 14th to report to his PDS.  His train arrives around 7:00pm.  My question is, how does one get from the Amtrak Station in Oceanside to Camp Pendleton?  Is the Oceanside train station the best station to get off of?  All the cab companies have said the cost of a cab will be between $35-45.  His train ticket was only $40.  Please help.See More
