Comment by JMACK on May 17, 2012 at 6:21am I would like to offer support and prayers to the family of Sgt. Wade D. Wilson of Normangee, Texas for their loss. Sgt. Wilson was with the 2/5 serving in Helmand Province of Afghanistan. He passed from this life May 11th. I know the Lord has accepted this Marine into his fold of many Brothers.

Comment by longhorns on May 2, 2012 at 8:47am Recruitmomma 62, welcome to being a recruits mom. Don't expect too much with that first phone call. Last about 20 seconds and I could not even understand my son he was yelling so loud. We are here to help and be a shoulder to lean on. And you will go through bootcamp like your son. I remember my days started by looking at the schedule and seeing what he might be doing that day. Family Day and Graduation Day will be days you never forget. Welcome and Semper Fi
Welcome recruitmomma62, We are here for you anytime.
Comment by recruitmomma62 (Karen) on May 2, 2012 at 1:27am I got a call from my husband on Friday. I thought it was because they won, but he called to tell me he fractured his knee:'( That was the last thing i wanted to hear. So now he will be out for around two weeks, and get a new platoon. I did get to hear his voice and tell him I loved him.
