We are planning on attending our son's TBS graduation in April.  Wondering if anyone has information on the schedule for the day or the appropriate dress attire?

My son graduated from the last class, but I imagine it's going to be pretty much the same. Family Day was first with casual wear...going around the base looking at where they've been doing what they've been doing. Then graduation in the evening..a dress up affair (not formal) just nice dresses and ties.

Congratulations to your son. On to MOS now!!

When I would go to Quantico to see my son I would stay at the Affordable Suites of America in Stafford. For around $90 a night you get a two room suite (living room with pull out sofa) and a bedroom with 2 queen beds AND a full kitchen. It was well worth the money.

Enjoy the's amazing to see them all in their dress blues.

Thank you so much for the information, afraid by the time I get the needed info from my son I won't be able to plan accordingly.  I looked into the Affordable Suites but they didn't have rooms available for the whole week we are there.  Next time I will see if we can stay there.

Has anyone heard anything new about graduation on 26th? I'm still in the dark.

I have not received details from my Marine yet, hopefully this weekend more specifics.

Talking to my son, pretty sure that the ceremony starts at 6pm and will be about an hour or so.  There are family day activities during the day on Wed.

So correction, my son says that family day is on Tues the 25th.

Siee this comment from the September 2016 graduation on the graduation schedule.

Also, in the welcome section  back on this page (, there is a link to the Official TBS Facebook page.  They usually post photos.

Hi Cindy:

I have been trying to find out any info....still nothing...times/locations????

Click on Cindy's profile pic to go to her profile and send her a message. She may respond quicker. Under her photo on her profile is 'add as friend.' You can leave a short message when you request to be friends.

I have some info: Family Day begins at 7am (yes, that is 7am!) on 4/25 in Heywood Hall. Graduation is 6pm on 4/26 in Little Hall.
