I learned that mine is in Charlie Company, 1st platoon.

Hi Y'all! Welcome to ITB, some of the most intense training this side of RECON. My son graduated Charlie CO 1st Platoon on12/20/11. Your Marine will be spending their weekdays and nights in the field. They usually return to the barracks Friday evening and have liberty beginning some time that night and have to report back for accountability formation Sunday usually by 1800. Your Marine will have access to his phone only during this time. If he calls you during the week tell him to put it away before he loses it altogether.

My son is also Charlie, 3rd platoon. My son didn't give me a 9 digit zip code... is the 5 digit zip enough? Anyone know?

Hi Lisa! Welcome to the group :) so now there is Dillmom, you and I. . BigDaddy, is your Marine in this platoon? Dillmom, I think my son was talking about yours yesterday about hanging out together. And Lisa, I only got a 5 digit zip too. It should be fine.

My son was India 3203. He just graduated boot on Jan. 20th. I forgot to ask who my son's rackmate is at ITB. Hmmm.... I'll put that on my discussion list.

At least you know where he is and that he is safe. Take comfort in that because months from now everything could and probably will change. I miss mine too though!

Hi there...I recognize a few familiar faces!!! My son (Matt) is in Charlie Co. 3rd Platoon. Does anyone have the official address for Camp Pendleton? I can't for the life of me find it. Matt was also in 3203 and graduated Jan 20, 2012. We really miss him but he is having the time of his life. At least we can talk to him on the weekends...that makes it so much easier. Glad to have found this discussion page! Kellie

Hey Kellie! Glad you found us too! Your son so kindly shared his phone with mine since he lost it Friday night. What a life saver! Please tell him thanks for me :) How is everyone doing? I heard our guys have been experiencing some cold cold nights (by California standards).
