Hello everyone in 2125 looks like we're gonna be one big happy family for this journey. We just found out today that my nephew is in this battalion. Awesome I can't wait to meet you all.

Hi and welcome :)  Hopefully we'll have more joining platoon 2125 as form letters start arriving :)

I just received my first letter from my son.  He is in Platoon 2125.  I wasn't expecting it quite so soon but maybe it's because we live in California.

Thank you for your service :) and thank you for willing to answer questions for our members.  While us moderators have only personal/board experience it's always great to have input from someone who's actually gone through waht the recruits are going through :)

For the first letter they are directed what to write. It is mostly intended to inform you of their platoon number and to inform us that they are still alive! It is funny how he is already starting to use terminology like "outstanding" lmao!!!

My wife and i are both Marines and having raised my brother in law like one of my own is a great feeling to see that it is finally paying off!

If any of you have any questions please feel free to direct them to me! Did i mention that i might know his DI??? Oh the hell he will pay! I will definitely make sure he works extra hard for his Eagle Globe and Anchor! Lol

Thank you Sergeant Barrios.  I will definitely direct any questions I have to you.  I know my mom has several questions, too.

How many recruits are typically in a Platoon?

Did anyone get a different PLT # from the form letter than they originally got from the recruiter ?

It looks like our recruit was moved from 2126 to 2125.  Can anyone tell us how they are housed in the barracks. Will they only be with their PLT ?
