Well, hello everyone... I hope that each of you was able to enjoy your new Marine.  Our time was small, but eventful.  We tried to fit in as many holidays and birthdays as possible... and now, our son is packing his gear and getting ready for MCT tomorrow.  Hopefully, he will have others from Fox & November joining him...Anyone taking the bus from Jersey to NC?

Another thing funny. After I purchased the crystal with the picture of our new Marine son, I showed it to my husband who was in the DVC café getting coffee.  He said "that is not our son, that is some model dressed like a Marine". Ha ha. I said: yes it is, he said not it is not, back and forth. Finally my husband's sister and our son's sister looked at it and said: Yes, it is! He finally believed me.  They looks so different in their dress blues!

Thank you Laura and raisedhimright! I'll look for info in the light.

Good morning little drip. The light for the crystal was black and I believe it had the Eagle, Globe and Anchor on it... Very pretty. I wish they would advertise it when they offered the crystal because I would have ordered it at the same time... And of course, when I saw it, I wanted to get it... BUT, those few days between Wednesday's tour to Graduation FLEW by... I am lucky I remembered half of the things I did. Lol.

This is funny. We bought two of the crystal portraits last year at DVC BUT did not even know there was supposed to be a light for it.   Still learning!

Thank you raisedhimright,  I will look and might have to take you up on that...

Laura, did you purchase this from the Douglas visitor center on the depot?  If so, the phone number is in the packet you received about graduation.  You could call them and order the light.  If you do not have the info, let me know and I can message you the number.
