Thanks for letting me know so quickly. Maybe we will get it soon.
There is a booklet you receive about the events and gifts like frames and DVD etc that comes with the pass that platoons received already I believe from posts. I also got the letter about the events last week. I was more concerned about the parking pass. I still have the booklet from my other but it's nice to have for the Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for all the events etc for families that are new to the events.

My son is in Platoon 3045. I recieved a letter saying the parking pass was attatched. Mine was not. I called and they said for some reason the parking passes didn't make it in the mailing. The said "no worries, you can get one when you check in at the visitors center".

Deb my son mentioned in his letter dated Sunday 5/19 that they might move the Crucible up to Tuesday instead of Thursday because of Memorial Day. He said it was like 75% percent sure but has not be confirmed.

ALL anyone needs to get on base is:

Valid ID, Current vehicle registration (or rental contract) and Current insurance.

We had many cars and all was good.

My fiancee said the same thing about moving the Crucible sooner. I'm a little confused as to why that would make a difference since Memorial Day is Monday and the Crucible originally begins Wednesday night??

And thank you Kerin! I was wondering how that would work for a rental car! :)

I know I can't understand the reasoning either. I guess we have to wait to see and it might be over by the time we do know.

I know! I haven't even sent a good luck letter yet! haha

I sent a letter yesterday saying good luck on your PFT and final test that is normally scheduled for Monday and Tuesday. It's always a waiting game. Thankfully, almost at the end.

Thanks everyone

Got a letter today saying the Crucible is staying at the original date :) Sent out my good luck letter today! Praying for all of the recruits! And praying for you all as well! It will be an exciting 2 weeks ahead :)

Thanks Hilary for letting us know!
