Leave between ITBn and SF training is not common. Most of the time he will be on a bus with in the hour headed for Virginia. Once at SF training he will have to request leave from his command. You might check out the SF discussion for current information.

I have a question. My fiance is at School of Infantry right now and he will graduate from it mid August this year. He thinks that he'll start Security Forces school in November. We were planning on getting married in October this year but we weren't sure if he comes home in between trainings. Is this a possibility? I talked to his recruiter today but he really didn't help! :/

It has been an Honor and a Privilege to have been allowed to be with you thru this amazing time, that NO Documentary can truly bring justice to. The TRUE Making of a Marine, in which Each of YOU has had a significant Part in helping to accomplish, not Just these Last 13 weeks, but Always!

And it Goes On.

This is merely the first Step of a New Lifetime. But for now, it is time to Hear their Stories and to Enjoy This Newly Minted Marine.

Then On it goes.

The Journey continues, and WE are all there, together, as Family.

As each of you enjoy your Newly Minted marines, it is that time again....Now for YOU that have gone before and now have joined our Ranks, I ask:

As has been my fashion, when I can, and as long as I am able, when I have a class that are to Begin the Crucible and that 54 Hour Test that Defines a they begin their March into the Woods, I come to you that now have gone before, and ask that you please PRAY, these Next 2 Nights for Alpha and Papa Company, Grad June 14, Parris Island.

For tonight, these fine Young People at 0200 begin.  The Honor to Have been and To Follow, it never gets Old, and I am proud ALWAYS to give this message to All.

And My Prayers are that those of US, In Unison, will Cause God Himself to hear the uplifting words for Our Marines in a Troubled Time and A Troubled World--for His People....HIS Marines, and watch over them.

A Marine is made by Three Things:

1.  The Grace of God

2.  Their Own Personal Will and Determination

3.  Blind Luck.

The Lord Takes Care of the First

They Take Care of the Second and WE NOW Pray  FOR GOOD Luck!

Thank You in advance,

VPF/VPAF of 5 United States Marines
