Hi all!  I live in central NC, and my son graduated MCRD-PI last week.  He was selected for RA, so he won't have to report for MCT until Feb 18th.  It is so nice to be in touch with others going through the same motions, and emotions!

Hi rebecca71! Thank you for the welcome. Im close by in Franklin, just west of you.  I know my Marine will be going to Ft Lee in VA for his MOS, but they haven't confirmed his exact MOS. Will know in February.

Welcome, MamaBear! What is your Marine's MOS? I live in Hickory, and my Marine is at Ft Meade in MD for combat correspondent. He graduates at the end of February, then it's off to his PDS.
