Congrats to your Marine on his MCT graduation! Here is the MOS page listing the locations and other links (if there are any).

As you might see from the cover photo of the FB site, there are more Navy then Marine students.
Luckily your communication during MOS training is better with contact most nights and weekends. :)

Classing up varies from reading through other members comments. Your Marine will have a better idea of a wait time once he checks into Pensacola and gets the firsthand information.

My son just graduated MCT and is headed to Pensacola. His MOS field right now is 6300. How often is there a wait to class up?
Also is there a Facebook page for families?

Ok thank you.  I will go through and read the posts. Lots of good info. Thanks.

No the MOS page has not moved. There just may not have been any new families to this MOS group. Do read through the older posts and you could start your own too.

My best wishes for your Marine when he does get started. Hopefully he is keeping busy either with some extra duties, catching some MCI courses, hitting the gym or just bonding with some new buddies.

I have a son waiting to class up in this MOS. I noticed there aren't any posts since last year. Has the page/group moved elsewhere?  Thanks.

My son's MOS is 6317 and he is currently in FL. Will be heading out to his final phase of training next week in VA. We are hoping he will get leave approved since class doesn't start up until August. :)
