Well, thanks - he is feeling better. He told me about the move, so he packed up and then found out that about a dozen of them are staying put.So I said you're unpacking?  Not just yet he said - they may change their mind!!  He's getting the hang of things!

Hope your son feels better soon.  You are right being sick and away from home is awful!  My son said he had to pack up all his stuff and was moving today.  They are putting all the MOS's together.  He said he will stay in the barracks, just move to a different room and get new rackmates.

Pensacola is getting some pretty nasty weather - praying that all stay safe.

Got a call from our son yesterday - very homesick.  He had post duty the night before, slept thru lunch so he didn't have any, plus he has been doctoring a bad chest cold for more than a week.  Add all that together and home is just where you'd like to be!!  Poor guy - wish FL wasn't so far away!  But he's tough - ooh-rah!!!

That would be great!  The waiting is hard.  I really hope mine doesn't have to wait the whole 3 months.  But it is what it is.

He says he has hopes that he will class up within the next month.  Some of the guys that arrived with him are getting classed up.  He had better get a computer so he can get back into the school routine - no more easy days!!

Comment by semperfialwaysfaithfulmom on April 24, 2014 at 7:24am

That would be very nice!

I'll tell him.  Mine's Pfc K.  He said he's on 1st floor close to lobby.

Comment by ChristianMom on April 22, 2014 at 7:16pm

Tell your son to find Pfc. L and tell him that his Mom has been talking to his Mom!  He will get a kick out of that -
