Anyone's Marine beginning MP training, this discussion is a good one full of great info. It goes back a few years but the shared experiences are good. :)

Can anyone tell me about graduation at flw for MP school. I believe my son says he graduates on August 13. I have been tO his last 2 graduations but trying to figure out if i should go out there and will I be able to spend anytime with him.

belo8 Field MP's are attached to Expeditionary Units and are deployable with the unit. MPO MP's are Garrison or Base police and do not deploy. The Corps can change their MOS to one or the other depending on their need. So if they are Field, they could go PMO and vise versa if the Corps has the need.

marinemom1213 - he just got there this past Tuesday the 25th so he's hoping to be picked up for the class in April.  Hope your sons broken bones healed quickly :)
