Does anyone know the length of the MOS 0612 Tactical Switch Operator/Field Wireman? Not including the time they're there waiting to pick up but the actual length of the school once they start. I've heard 2 months, 3 weeks, 63 days, 3 months, 3.5 months, and 4 months. Maybe the length of the course has changed over time but I would like to know any information you can provide on the length of the school. Thank you!

I don't know the length of training for this 0612 MOS but here is the 29 Palms training website.

Have you looked into the WAB (what's after boot) page that includes this 29 Palms school location link. Scroll down to Field 06.http://www.whatsafterboot.com/mos.asp
There are two other links as well to learn more about your Marine's MOS. Pictures too! It's always cool and interesting to see the pictures.

You might also read this on the liberty restrictions that were in place a couple years ago. I'm not sure if this still stands today so hopefully another member will have some recent news. Your Marine is always your best source for information.

Best wishes through training for your Marine.
