The following is important information that may affect you depending on which state you live in. Passports MAY be required to gain access to MCRD for Grad Week.

Please go to Real ID website it will direct you to the information you need. It's suggested going to the DMV and validating your ID if Real ID doesn't answer your question.

IMPORTANT SECURITY AND PRIVACY ALERT PLEASE READ IN FULL:

Do NOT Share Your Recruit's Full Name in Groups or Private Messages
Please do not post or share your recruit's full name on ANY group or message board, and particularly if someone requests that you send a recruit's full name in a private message. It's risky. Please don't do it.

As military family members, we need to be very cautious and more conservative than the civilian population. There is an enemy out there, they are threatening military families, and they DO use social media and message boards to collect information.

Respect your recruit's privacy and keep your recruit and your military family safe. Do not give anyone, including in a private message, your recruit's last name.
It may be very tempting to give out your recruit's full name to obtain the platoon number prior to getting the form letter, or to determine if two or more recruits are in the same squad bay. If someone is asking for your recruits full name, please report it.

The 2016 ship/graduation dates have not posted yet.
http://www.mcrdsd.marines.mil/RecruitTraining/GraduationSchedule.aspx

Have you received the phone call from your recruit, the call with all of the yelling in the background? It is only a few seconds long so hopefully you or he squeezed in an 'I love you.' :)
You can hang here until you know for sure and you receive the form letter which should arrive in your mail about 7-10 days after he has shipped.

Here is some info on receiving: http://marinefamilynetwork.com/group/mcrdsd2/forum/topics/receiving
