Probably the best way to stay informed is through eMarine. Here is 214 Battalion web link.

Check out the Family Readiness links. The deployment guide is too cute. :)
I guess if your Marine gets transferred like Jen's Marine, you will be transferred too.

How's it going Jen? Did your Marine get settled in another Unit?

Our son is in VMA-214. He has been in this unit for about 6 months now, we are trying to get as much info as we can. We want to be on top of things as much as possible, any guidance would be appreciated

Hi MAG 13 group! My son just transferred here last week.

I just got kicked out of emarine, I am assuming its because he transferred? Thats the 3rd time they have kicked me out. I think its an automatic action.

The USMC just updated their pages at the start of their fiscal year. I would go with the web site.

I can't register with the 214 on eMarine until he officially gets moved over there from the 513.  I am on eMarine for the 513  but thought I would try to be a step ahead!  Part of the reason that I asked is that one site has one person as FRO and the MarineParents site has a different one.  I will try to be patient :)  LOL and wait for his move and the paperwork to get done.  Thanks!

On the 3MAW website (under the Family Readiness tab) is contact info for all the group FRO's.

Have you registered with eMarine? I would think this would be your most accurate and up to date information.

Good luck to your Marine in his transfer and my many thanks for his service. I wish him well with lots of prayers too.

I was wondering if this is the newest information for the 214 as my son will be transferring from the 513 to the 214 soon.  Just am getting my ducks in a row so I know who the FRO is, etc.  Thanks!
