Anyone has a grandson in 1st. RTBN PLT 1044 Co A graduating on June 14?? I received 1 letter so far. I know he is busy and don't expect to hear from him much.  As long as one member hears from him and we know he is fine we're all ok.  He said they are so busy and don't have much free time, but they do look forward to their mail.. God Bless the men and women who does not receive any mail.  My heart goes out to them.

Alexa: Do not be discouraged that your grandson has not written--they get very little time for such activities in boot camp. My son had four or five people writing to him regularly (including his grandmother) and I was the only person who received letters in return. Just the fact that he is getting to read your encouraging, loving words is a blessing--many of the guys and gals in bootcamp do not get any letters from family or friends.

My grand son, Zachary left Jan 28 and will graduate April 26, 2013.  I havent heard from him yet :( but his mom and girl friend have.  I will continue writing him so he can at least receive mail and love from Grandma, but I hope to hear from him soon :) :)   I am sooooooo RPOUD of the Marine in making he is becoming

As a parent who has traveled that particular journey already, nomimohr, I can identify with your sentiments. No worries, your Marine-in-the-making is in good hands--more Marines! Keeping him, and you, in my prayers.

This Grandma is so very proud of my ONLY grandson - Jonathan! He graduates April 5th, so still a ways to go.  I sent him a letter with a ssae - I do hope he will write me at least once.  I pray for him constantly and I know he is hanging on to Jesus!  Yay!
