I am sure your grandson knows how you feel about him. And yes, get the DVD so you can watch it. My granddaughter graduates Dec 19 and I can't wait.

I am so sorry you are unable to attend the graduation ceremony.  Hopefully your Grandsons parents will order the DVD of he whole ceremony so you may see it.  The important thing is you will see your Marine in person.  My advice as a Marine Grandma...keep cooking...he hasn't had your food for  long time:):) and nobody cooks like Grandma:):)!  Enjoy your Marine and thanks for his service.

God Bless and Semper Fi

I'm sure you are disappointed but he'll be home before you know it. He should get a video of it in the mail (it may take several weeks but you'll get to see it. Congrats to all the Echo grads !

New to the Marine Grandparents group.  Hi, I'm Grandmalenore.  My grandson will graduate Oct. 31 with Echo Co.  Tears come easily when I think of how much I'd love to be there to see him get his EGA.  But his parents and little sister are there and I know they'll take pictures.  Best of all, he comes home for leave and I'll get to see him then!  I can barely wait.  Congratulations to all of the Echo Company graduates and to their families.

When you receive the graduation packet it usually has information for all of the activities for the week. I will check with the Recruit Mods to see if they have more information on this.

He will love the flag. I did that for my son and he found it very motivating. Tell her to write about it to him so he knows about it while he is walking back it will motivate him !!

Check out our EGA store for cool graduation gifts:
