Good bye everyone. My Marine is in his last days of his terminal leave. EAS is almost complete. I would recommend that you remind your Marine to get phone numbers  and permission to use people as references before they EAS. lol Happy Trails!

Hi everyone !
Please check out this link to vote for a Sgt. in the Marine Corps for American Hero of the Year. The deadline for voting is just a few days (Sept. 6) from now. The Sgt. is one of five finalists for American Hero of the Year and the only Marine::
Thank you!

Thanks. I realized I probably asked a redundant question. Yes he missed being out in the rain. I'm sure he'll deal with it soon enough. We have had a particularly wet July though so hopefully the rest of the summer won't be as bad.

I'm sure I'll be on here a lot. I think this PDS will be a lot different than his time spent in GA. Thanks again for your help!

Just training OPs. is what I am hearing. So he missed the fun of training in the rain for a week straight. lol My Marine had Okinawa as his 1st PDS. Bet he never expected to be that wet again. lol

He didn't check in until July 31st and finally got hooked up with the unit yesterday. So he probably doesn't know much yet. Do you know if they'll be going anywhere soon? I know OPSEC may prevent a detailed answer.

That is what I did finally ask my Marine. Got no response, lol, big surprise. I suppose we could both ask the FRO.

Heard their latest exercise was a very wet one. He told me that at least his tent didn't leak like so many other's did. lol

Dianne, Back in June you suggested a couple items to look at. You also said "in my search for where they are in their rotation". How do I find that out? Is it something I can determine online or do I just have to ask my Marine?

Thank you Dianne and Denita.

The link for the UIP (unit information page) will always be at the top:
Follow that link for basic information about the unit.
