Hi Cheryl! I thought that was you! Did your son go straight to fleet after SOI? What is his MOS? Mine is part of the LAV crewman. He is home this weekend for a 96 leave. So good to see him! We haven't seen him since he left 4 months ago for SOI.
Comment by Cheryl 1 hour ago Hi Michele! Nice to see a familiar face/name :) My son has been placed on light duty due to some joint pain, and is waiting for an MRI. Lol... I have no idea what his job title is with 1st LAR. I think we need to talk more! All I know is that he and the other new guys to the unit have been cleaning and prepping for their returning brothers from deployment. Welcome home gentlemen!!
Thanks, my son did say his unit just got back from deployment. He was bummed but we are happy!

Hello,
My son just received his PDS and is stationed at Camp Pendleton with 1st LAR. I am assuming this is the correct discussion board?
Looking forward to connecting with other family members here! He is a crewman on the LAV.
Michele
