12 missing Marines officially declared dead

MARINE CORPS BASE KANEOHE BAY, Hawaii -
The U.S. Marine Corps has officially declared 12 Marines dead after their two CH-53E Super Stallion helicopters were involved in an incident off the coast of Oahu's Waimea Bay along the North Shore on the evening of January 14.

Please know that the thoughts and prayers of all Marines and the American people are with you. Our Corps’ priority is to help the extended Pegasus family and MAG-24 through this challenging time.

May the Lord comfort this family as they go through this difficult time. I am so sorry for your loss and in the coming days, weeks, months I pray for peace and comfort for your family.
