DoD Identifies Marine Casualties

               The Department of Defense announced today the deaths of six Marines who were supporting Operation Enduring Freedom. 

                Killed were:

                     Capt. Daniel B. Bartle, 27, of Ferndale, Wash.

                    Capt. Nathan R. McHone, 29, of Crystal Lake, Ill.

                    MSgt. Travis W. Riddick, 40, of Centerville, Iowa.

                   Cpl. Jesse W. Stites, 23, of North Beach, Md.

                    Cpl. Kevin J. Reinhard, 25, of Colonia, N.J.

                    Cpl. Joseph D. Logan, 22, of Willis, Texas.

                These Marines died January 19 while supporting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan. They were assigned toMarine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 363, Marine Aircraft Group 24, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force, Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii.

To the family of Cpl. Kevin J. Reinhard I send my deep sympathies. May God comfort and carry you know and forward. We are in prayer for you, you are not alone. His life made all the difference for us all and he will be honored forever.

To the Family and Friends of Corporal Kevin Reinhard...you are in my prayers.  May the Lord fill each of you with His great comfort and an abiding sense of His Love for you and for Kevin.

I am so sorry for your loss.  Cpl. Kevin J. Reinhard gave the ultimate sacrifice in serving our Country.   May he always be remembered for the honor and courage with which he fulfilled his duty and for the love and joy he gave his family and friends.  With heavy heart, I send my deepest sympathies and my prayers for the family and friends of Kevin.
