Join The Heart of A Marine Foundation for this unique patriotic celebration of our military and veterans. The Hearts of Valor Ball is their annual signature fundraising event, traditionally hosting over 400 active duty military, veterans, and civilians.
The evening will feature:
Keynote Speaker: Former Navy SEAL and U. S. Army Ranger Qualified Lieutenant Jason Redman joined the Navy September 11, 1992. He has dedicated his life to the service of his country and made multiple deployments throughout South America and in support of the Global War on Terrorism. He was seriously wounded while deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom; shot twice in the arm and once in the face but refuses to allow his wounds and disfigurement to slow him down. He uses his experiences as a severely wounded service member and positive attitude to motivate others and to continue to raise awareness of the sacrifices of America's courageous military forces and their families. He created Wounded Wear to promote awareness throughout the country of the sacrifices that wounded service members have made in the name of freedom; and to foster a sense of camaraderie, determination, and strength of purpose, amongst the wounded and their families on their road to recovery.
His military decorations include the Bronze Star Medal with Valor, Purple Heart, Navy Commendation Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal, Navy Achievement Medal (five awards), and Combat Action Ribbon (two awards).
